Jason Momoa looked comfortable and warm at the Variety Sundance Studio on Friday.
The Game of Thrones alum, 43, was accompanied by the director of his new documentary film Deep Rising, Matthieu Rytz, and United Nations Scientist, Dr. Sandor Mulsow, for the interview.
He sat comfortably in his chunky white cardigan as he discussed the documentary on the controversial proposal to mine the ocean floor, on which he served as narrator and an executive producer.

His luscious locks were pulled back in a tight bun, exposing the shaved sides of his head.

At Sundance, Jason, Matthieu, and Dr. Muslow revealed the first look at their new documentary, which focuses on the fate of an ecosystem critical to marine and even human life.

While at the studio, Jason also discussed his potential future with DC Studios and Warner Bros. after a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new studio heads.
‘It’s very, very wonderful. I’m in the house of Warner Bros. and they are liking a lot of stuff I’m doing. We got a lot of good things coming.’

Jason first starred as Aquaman in 2018, which performed well over budget, making about $1.14 billion at the box office.
The sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, is set to release on Christmas Day 2023; however, due to the changes James Gunn and Peter Safran have announced they are making to the studio, it became unclear if Jason would return to DC.
It was recently announced that Henry Cavill, who played Superman in several DC films, would not be returning to the franchise, despite his announcement that he would be returning only a few weeks beforehand.
The Dune actor went on to share more about the comparisons between the work he’s doing for the planet and what themes will appear in the new Aquaman film.

‘The beautiful thing [about Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom] is me and my partner wrote the first treatment for it, and it was about a 55-page treatment, and a lot of it has to deal with me talking to the U.N. about what’s happening with the melting ice caps.’
He continued: ‘There’s no far-off galaxy coming to destroy us or aliens from another place. It’s us ruining our planet. We need to get it together and save our home.
‘I’ll always be Aquaman. Ain’t anyone coming in there and taking s**t. There might be some other characters, too. I can play other things, too. I can be funny and savage and charming.’
