Jeremy Renner paid a visit to the medical staff that ‘saved his life’ after he was crushed by a 14,000-pound snow plow on New Year’s Day.

On Saturday, the actor, 52, spent time at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, which is near his lavish Lake Tahoe abode, and shared photos to Instagram.

‘I got to revisit the amazing group of people who saved my life,’ he captioned the post featured on his Instagram Story.

Renner – who suffered over 30 broken bones from the accident – was seen using a cane as he posed beside medical works in one of the hospital’s visiting areas.

Just days earlier, he opened up about the weeks he spent in the ICU – which he compared to being in a ‘haunted house’ due to the sounds of other patient as well as the mixture of medications he was on.

He also told Jimmy Kimmel that he would be ‘apologizing’ to the nurses that had to deal with him in the early days of his recovery.

He posted another photo showing him standing beside a surgeon that he captioned:, ‘Thank you,’ followed by a prayer hand emoji.

Dressed in gray sweatpants, a black puffer jacket and sneakers, Renner took a photo outside in front of the medical center’s sign with four staff members.

Renner’s chest crushed and his upper torso collapsed when he was pulled under and crushed by a seven-ton snow plow near his Lake Tahoe property just hours after ringing in the New Year.

He had been trying to pull his nephew’s vehicle from the snow in his driveway when the horrifying incident occurred.

Renner was heard in agony in a 911 call following the accident, which resulted in him being airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was initially listed in ‘critical but stable condition.’

The Avengers star has been sharing updates on his condition and rehabilitation via social media, including a January 21 post showing him in physical therapy for his legs.

‘Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love,’ began the star.

‘I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all.’

Fast Forward nearly three months, and Renner looks to be in great shape in comparison to the initial images of him in hospital all bruised and bandaged up.

But Renner still has a long road to recovery ahead of him that will consist of extensive physical therapy.

Earlier this week, the Oscar nominee walked hand-in-hand with his 10-year-old daughter Ava Berlin Renner at the premiere of his Disney+ series mini-series Rennervations, which chronicles Renner helping charities by reconstructing decommissioned vehicles for new uses.

He also made his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier in the week, which began with the actor doing a little dance with his cane as he made his way to his chair for the interview.

After the two joked about him being ‘indestructible’ and the host calling him the ‘toughest Avenger’, Renner shared about his experience in the hospital.

‘I kept trying to get out of the hospital as soon as I was in it,’ he excitedly told Kimmel with a big smile on his face.

‘I’m like, “I’m out of here.” I hate what I was wearing. It was gross,’ he added, which got laughs from the live audience. ‘It was terrible.’

When asked how long he was in the first hospital, the father of one seemed to look towards someone he knew in the audience and responded, ‘I thought I was there a couple of days, but apparently I was there about a week, the first hospital, right?’

He then explained, ‘There’s two different ICUs. I got kicked out of the first one,’ which he blamed, in part on the medications he had been receiving.

‘First of all, look man, they put you on so many drugs. It [The hospital] was under construction sort of ICU. They weren’t done yet with the ICU area when I got there. So they put me in like a janitors closet; it’s like a VIP thing.’

By this time there were even more laughs coming from Kimmel and his studio audience.

‘They had no bathroom in it, and I’m like, the lights are flickering. And everyone in here is moaning, like they’re dying in the ICU. This is like a haunted house,’ he joked.

Showing off his acting skills, he added a play on words: ‘It’s called ICU,’ and then proceeded to do a creepy monster-like voice, in a haunting tone with plenty of animation: ‘I… see… you.,’ that got even more laughs from the crowd.

Renner reiterated that it was ‘creepy’ and ‘like a haunted house,’ and that he ‘wanted out of this place. I’m not going to get better here.’

Sounding far more serious, he then revealed his intention to go ‘back to that hospital this week to apologize to every one of those nurses. Yes, I’m going to apologize.’
