Jess Eva has been axed from Triple M’s hosting lineup next year.
The Block star, who previously co-hosted Triple M Sydney‘s breakfast show, was conspicuously absent from a 2023 lineup announcement on Thursday, sparking questions about the future of her radio career.
When contacted for comment, a Triple M spokesperson confirmed that Eva has been warehoused, rather than canned altogether.

‘Jess Eva, who co-hosted the 104.9 Triple Breakfast show with MG, will not return to the show next year but will stay in the Triple M family in 2023,’ they confirmed.
Eva’s former co-host Mark ‘MG’ Geyer will however return to the airwaves next year as he joins comedian Mick Molloy to host Triple M Sydney’ breakfast show Mick & MG in the Morning.
Jess announced in November that her breakfast program MG, Jess & Pagey wouldn’t be continuing in 2023.

Pagey had already confirmed his exit from the breakfast program back in October to pursue other projects outside of radio.
Discussing her departure on-air, Eva clarified that she and MG wouldn’t be unemployed and are still part of the ‘Triple M family’.
Jess also shared an emotional tribute to MG and co-host Cat Lynch, who had been filling in since Pagey left.

‘I just adore ya. At the end of the day … If you can roll in here to a breakfast show and you pick up a couple of soulmates and then you roll back out again and you have a wine, how good’s living?’ she gushed.
Eva first shot to fame on season 14 of The Block in 2018, alongside her partner Norm Hogan.
She later appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and released her own book, titled Why Wouldn’t Ya?’

Mick and MG in the Morning will air next year 6am to 9am on weekdays, from Monday 16th January.
