The Hollywood Hills home of music legend Johnny Mathis had a hillside collapse in front of it, destroying the 87-year-old singer’s Jaguar, which was parked in front.
The landslide – which came after an extended storm in Southern California – occurred seven years after the same domicile was destroyed in a fire.
According to KABC, the landslide left pipes and other parts of the home’s infrastructure exposed, and cut off the utilities.

The disaster took place in the 1400 block of Sunset Plaza in the Hollywood Hills, the station reported, and it was not immediately clear how the landslide impacted the stability of the house.
Mathis’ silver Jaguar was covered and filled with mud and debris in the wake of the landslide, the station reported.
The incident comes more than seven years after the same property was decimated by a November 2015 fire.
Mathis, an inductee in the Grammys Hall of Fame, has been active for seven decades in music, with songs such as Chances Are; Too Much, Too Little, Too Late and It’s Not for Me to Say.
