‘You don’t know how old this has made me feel!’ Jurassic Park fans go wild as Ariana Richards recreates green jelly scene 30 years on
Jurassic Park teen star Ariana Richards has recreated her iconic green jelly scene thirty years on.
The 1993 film celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and Ariana, 43, decided to relive the moment where her character Lex Murphy discovers a Velociraptor after narrowly escaping an attack.
Fans went wild as Jurassic Park released the comparison video on their social media, with many saying it made them feel old.
Ariana, now 43, was just 13 when she took on the role of the granddaughter of the park’s owner, John Hammond.
In the scene, Lex and her younger brother Tim think they’ve escaped a Velociraptor attack as they take shelter in a kitchen which has lots of delicious treats on display.

Lex has a spoonful of jelly in a hand when the approaching footsteps of the dinosaurs causes the gelatin dessert to tremble.
Fans took to the comment section to reminisce on the blockbuster film.
One wrote: ‘That’s the most iconic scene in the Jurassic Park films’, another added: ‘You do not know…..how old this made me feel’.
A different fan typed: ‘ So cool to see her recreate that scene. The jello scene is burned into my brain for eternity.’
Jurassic Park, which ran in theatres for almost 500 days and grossed a total of $912million worldwide, captivated audiences around the globe and launched the modern blockbuster franchise.
Ariana appeared in The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997 before largely moving away from acting.
She is currently living in Oregon where she works as an artist and painter.

Ariana was 13 when Jurassic Park debuted in cinemas.
She is seemingly still close with her fellow cast mates and still takes part in franchise-related events.
She attended the premieres for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and Jurassic World: Dominion last year.
