Karl Stefanovic dodges questions about Noosa ‘mess’ on live radio… three months after his sister-in-law’s blow-up with ‘cheating’ Michael Clarke
Today show host Karl Stefanovic was grilled about the ‘park situation’ involving his sister-in-law Jade Yarbrough and best mate Michael Clarke on live radio on Friday.
Clarke and Yarbrough were infamously caught on camera having a bust-up in a Noosa park while on holiday with Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine on January 10.
Their row was over claims Clarke, a former captain of the Australian cricket team, had cheated on Yarbrough, his then-girlfriend, with his former partner Pip Edwards.
Stefanovic, who was filmed intervening in the melee after Yarbrough slapped a limping Clarke, was asked about the grubby scandal during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning.
While he would not be drawn into an in-depth analysis, the Channel Nine presenter did acknowledge the situation was still ‘a mess’ three months later.

After Stefanovic said he had recently been in Noosa with Jasmine, radio host Kyle Sandilands jumped on the opportunity to ask about the ill-fated New Year’s trip.
‘Was [your cousin] there? Was she part of that whole, you know, the Clarkey…? What happened there?’ he asked.
‘I know you don’t like talking about the whole park situation… but that’s all brushed [aside]? That’s all gone now, right?’
Stefanovic, who seemed lost for words, replied: ‘It’s, it’s, it’s… just…’
‘It’s a mess? It’s tough?’ offered Sandilands, to which Stefanovic replied: ‘It’s a mess.’

KIIS FM co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson then asked Stefanovic what was going through his head when he found out the park brawl video had been leaked to the press.
‘Were you dying?’ she asked. ‘It would make me so anxious.’
The breakfast TV star dodged the question, joking there were far more incriminating videos ‘of Kyle and I’ potentially doing the rounds.
Sandilands revealed he has ‘Tongan friends’ to assist him with these delicate matters – and advised that Stefanovic hire a few of his own the next time he’s in Noosa.
‘I needed a Tongan friend,’ Stefanovic conceded.
