Lydia Bright proudly showed off her facial scar one week after having a lump removed.
The former TOWIE star, 32, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a candid selfie in which a two inch scar could be seen under her eye.
Lydia sported natural curls and no make-up for the radiant snap as she commented that she was ‘starting to get my cheekbones back’ after the swelling had gone down following her operation.
Captioning her radiant snap, she penned: ‘One week post-op, I’m starting to get my cheekbones back.
‘I can’t apply skincare or wear make-up at the moment, it frees up time!’

Just days before, Lydia had confirmed that she’d had a lump removed after responding to a fan commenting on her Mother’s Day post.
Lydia has shared a lovely snap of Sunday with herself, daughter Loretta and mother Debbie, captioning the sweet post: ‘Three generations. Happy Mother’s Day
‘I am so proud that you are mine and I am yours. You are unique, strong, warm, inspirational, ambitious. The matriarch of our magical family and the solid foundation of my life. Love you forever.’
With the star sporting stitches and a puffy eye following her procedure, she was quick to reply to a follower who had asked what happened to her eye.
Lydia said: ‘I had to have an op to remove a lump. It looks worse than it feels x.’
It’s been a tough time of late for Lydia as in addition to her operation, she also revealed that she had to rush her three-year-old daughter Loretta to A&E after she fell and hit her head while climbing.

Lydia told how she ‘wants to cry when she thinks of it now’ but added that thankfully she didn’t need any stitches.

She penned on her Story: ‘Monday was hard, the boiler stopped, the gate broke and as grateful as I am to have a beautiful home sometimes the never-ending lists with a move can feel overwhelming.
‘Yesterday was worse, I ended up in A&E with Loretta she hit her head whilst climbing. I still want to cry when I think of it now. Thankfully no stitches but she had to have the wound cleaned and glued.
‘Last night, I stayed at my parents and set off early this morning as today I am having a minor op in between my eye and nose.
‘I really shouldn’t be as anxious as I am but I think everything is heightened at the moment. Sorry to offload, but I just wanted to explain that this is why you may see a small scar on my face for a while.
‘Anyway, they do say bad luck comes in threes so hopefully, this is the last anxiety of the week.’

Loretta is Lydia’s only child and she shares her with ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin.
Lydia has been single following the 2020 end of her relationship with Lee.
The parents tried to make the relationship work after finding out Lydia was pregnant, but eventually called it quits in 2020 after Loretta was born.

Posting a gushing tribute to her daughter, Lydia gushed that Loretta has ‘filled her world with so much colour and made her whole,’ adding that she would love her until her ‘heart stops beating.’
In the clip, Lydia broke down as she tenderly holds her daughter for the first time, while her mother Debbie says: ‘Congratulations!’
She captioned the post: ‘Three years ago, you were born and so was I. You made me strong, you filled my world with so much colour, you made me whole.
‘I will love you until my heart stops beating. Happy Birthday Loretta Rose.’
Family is hugely important to Lydia, and she has recently vowed to use a ‘sperm donor’ to achieve her ‘number one goal’ of a big family.
Lydia said she dreams of having four children and having the same ‘busy and chaotic household’ she did as a child – with three biological siblings, two adopted siblings and numerous foster brothers and sisters.
Lydia insisted while she hopes to meet Mr. Right in the next five years, she’s happy to give her daughter Loretta, two, siblings in a ‘non-conventional way, like adoption or the sperm donor route’.
The single mum isn’t focusing on dating as she said ‘it’s not the answer’ to having more kids.
Speaking in an interview with Closer magazine, Lydia said: ‘I really want more children, probably three, whether that be by meeting someone or doing it by myself.

‘If it got to a point where love didn’t happen, I’d consider the non-conventional way, like adoption or the sperm donor route.
‘For me, the number-one goal is to have more children. I’ve come from such a massive family… I’d want the same household as my parents. I love the busyness and the chaos!’
This comes as she has recently spoken out about the cost of living crisis and how it may ‘put off families wanting to foster’ children in care.
She said she wouldn’t be ‘the person I am today’ if she hadn’t spent her childhood as part of a foster family; her mother Debbie has spent the past 30 years fostering over 200 children.
