Reese Witherspoon said she was ‘proud’ of her kids as she hit the red carpet for her new film Your Place Or Mine on Thursday evening.
The 46-year-old Oscar winner has two children with Ryan Phillippe – Deacon, 19, and Ava, 23 – as well as son Tennessee, 10 with current husband Jim Toth.
‘It means you did your job right,’ said the Draper James designer. ‘And I’m so proud of my kids. They’re thriving in the world and I’m so happy for them.’
This comes just as Deacon shared a new look at his dorm room at NYU in NYC. In his fresh Insta Stories snap, he shows off his computer where he makes his songs. And behind him are a row of photos, one of which sees him next to his older sister Ava.
Earlier this week he shocked fans when he posted a photo of himself sitting on his bed in his dorm room.

In Deacon’s new images shared Thursday he is again seen in his small dorm room near NYU.
The star is busy creating new tunes.
‘Cuz all you play is silly,’ he wrote over his photo where he had on a brown cap, beige shirt and slacks.
He sipped from a green bottle of water from The Mountain Valley Spring Water, which he says does not sponsor him.
‘Still mixing,’ added the budding musician.
His laptop was located on a wood desk with shelves above stocked with books like Liar’s Poker.
Behind his laptop were a row of family photos taped to the back of his wood desk.
There were two images where he was posing with his sister Ava. And there was also an image where his younger brother Tennessee was on his back.

Deacon graduated from Mountain High School in June 2022 and is now pursuing music at college.
NYU has an excellent music department in their secondary school, The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
In August his father Ryan told Entertainment Tonight that he was ‘proud’ of his son – who has acted in Never Have I Ever – for going to college.
‘He’s about to go to college for music. That’s his primary focus. The acting thing he likes to do, and he will do according to what his appetite for it is, but his focus is primarily music,’ shared the Cruel Intentions star.
His sister Ava is also at college. In 2019, she showed off her dorm room at University of California, Berkeley.
In the image from earlier this week, Deacon invited Instagram followers inside his college dorm room.
‘In flow,’ wrote the Los Angeles native in his caption for his 400K followers.
His actor father Ryan – who was married to Reese from 1999 until 2008 – commented, ‘2nd pic is illlllllllll.’

The dorm room has a lot going on.
Underneath the bed are wood clothing drawers and to the side is a plastic storage container that appears to be stuffed full.
On one end of the bed hangs a royal blue laundry bag with a white string closure. On the wood floor is a light rust colored throw rug with white tribal designs.
