Rob Lowe has given a fans an update on what it has been like near his home in Santa Barbara, California during the storm.
When at the Los Angeles premiere of his new Netflix movie Dog Gone on Wednesday he told Extra the rain and floods have devastated the area.
‘I’m lucky to be here tonight. We were trapped for a day and a half. Cut off, so there was a big tree down on my road and nobody could get in or out,’ he told Extra’s Jennifer Lahmers.

Dog Gone premieres on Netflix on January 13.
The 58-year-old actor stepped out in a sharp ensemble at the event, held at The Bay Theater in Pacific Palisades.
He also posed with co-stars Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Johnny Berchtold, along with their on-screen family pooch, dubbed Gonker, months after wishing his son Johnny a happy 27th birthday.
Lowe stepped out wearing a chic black Saint Laurent mohair sweater, which retails for $1,390. He was also wearing a gold chain seek peeking out from his sweater, while posing with his co-stars.
The actor completed his look with black pants, shiny black dress shoes while accessorizing with a silver watch.
Lowe’s new movie is based on a true story, chronicled in Pauls Toutonghi’s 2016 book Dog Gone: A Lost Pet’s Extraordinary Journey and the Family Who Brought Him Home.
The book follows a father (Lowe) and son (Johnny Berchtold) who go on a journey to find their lost dog, to get him the medication he needs to survive.
The cast also includes Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Susan Gallagher and Annabella Didion.

Lowe told Netflix’s Tudum last month, ‘I’m super proud of the film. It’s just a total emotional journey that will definitely give you all the feels.’
Stephen Herek (Rock Star) directs from a script by Nick Santora (Reacher), adapted from the Toutonghi novel.
The film is slated to debut on the Netflix streaming service on Friday, January 13.
Lowe currently stars in the Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spin-off of 9-1-1 set in Austin, Texas.
He also stars in an upcoming Netflix show dubbed Unstable, which he co-created with his son John Owen Lowe.
The show follows a son (John Owen Lowe) with social problems who is forced to work for his eccentric father’s (Rob Lowe) company.
