‘Omfg as someone who just gave birth to their first child 8 days ago I am so bloody angry seeing this,’ one angry fan wrote.

‘This is so messed up and even if let’s say it was an inside joke with her partner, she should delete immediately. This is not healthy and not cool at all.’

‘This is so damaging to young women,’ said another.

‘@RubyTuesdayMatthews how upsetting that you have such a major platform & instead of using it for good you’re doing stuff like this,’ commented a third.

It comes after Ruby was forced to defend her slender frame as she showed off ‘cute’ stretch marks four months after welcoming third child.

Ruby explained in her caption that she wanted to flaunt her ‘cute tiger stripes’ – referring to some small stretch marks on her hip.

Her followers were divided about the image, with one saying: ‘Not a standard postpartum tummy/body! Very envious and happy for you having such an amazing tummy though’.

‘It is very obvious that it isn’t natural and I think a woman with a platform should perhaps have a little more awareness,’ someone else commented.

‘I am naturally very slim and I had big babies but always went straight back to being skinny within weeks. It’s just genetics. Leave her alone,’ another said.

Ruby replied to the negative comments, writing: ‘I don’t think there is a standard or rules on how to look postpartum. Each pregnancy is so different and how your body reacts is different too.

‘I’m saying that I’ve been moving my body for 28 minutes a day five days a week for my mental health, something I never did with my other pregnancies, so that is the reason I’m more toned etc.’

Daily Mail Australia reached out to Ruby for comment.
