Samantha Armytage looked as chic as ever as she arrived at the KIIS FM radio studios in Sydney, ahead of an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday.

The former Sunrise host, 46, who now hosts Farmer Wants a Wife, showed off her new dark blonde hair as she made her way inside.

Sam, who lives on a farm in Bowral with her millionaire equestrian businessman husband Richard Lavender, 63, had a spring in her step and rocked a pair of denim jeans with a linen blazer for the outing.

She teamed the look with a white T-shirt underneath and a brown leather handbag.

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O ahead of the premiere of the new season of Farmer Wants a Wife next month, Sam said the cast of the show are all ‘genuinely’ looking for love.

Last month, Samantha was announced as the new host of the show taking over the role made famous by long-time presenter Natalie Gruzlewski – who will remain part of the series as a ‘co-host’.

‘I think the boys come into it, genuinely, these boys are very nervous being on camera,’ Sam said on the Kyle and Jackie O Show about the new farmers.

‘I think their hearts are in the right places. And they’re very good, we present them with quite a few ladies, unlike other shows, the girls go online, pick which guy they want to meet.’

She added: ‘It’s coming from a more genuine place.’

Armytage had joined the dating show as a ‘guest host’ last year, but her minor role has now been expanded while Gruzlewski is ‘scaling back’ her duties.

Gruzlewski will present her own segment called ‘Nat’s Getaway’ during the 2023 season, with Armytage ‘front and centre’ as the face of the franchise.

A Seven executive told TV Tonight the pair, both 46, had effectively ‘flipped roles’.

A new trailer shows Armytage walking through a paddock as she says ‘every farmer will find love this year’. Gruzlewski isn’t featured in the promo.

Viewers are introduced to five new farmers looking for love: Brad, 32, David, 29, Brenton, 26, Matt, 23, and Andrew, 41.

However, things aren’t all rosy as one potential ‘wife’ bursts into tears and says she ‘thinks I’m ready to go home’.

The new season of Farmer Wants a Wife is set to premiere on Seven on Easter Monday, on April 10.
