Taylor’s break-up boom! Swift sees her songs about ex Joe Alwyn INCREASE streaming numbers – after writing numerous tracks about their six-year relationship before split
Taylor Swift is seeing a spike in her music inspired by Joe Alwyn amid their reported breakup after six years together.
Songs that have seen an increase in streaming include Cornelia Street, New Year’s Day, Daylight, King of My Heart, Happiness, Sweet Nothing and the 1, according to SpotifySwiftie, via TMZ.
Taylor and Joe’s breakup was first reported by ET on Saturday, with a source revealing that they split a ‘few weeks ago’ after their relationship ‘had just run it’s course.’
The couple, who started dating in 2016, reportedly split due to ‘differences in their personalities,’ an insider told People.
‘They’ve had rough patches before always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together,’ the source said.

The singer and the actor ‘ultimately’ ‘weren’t the right fit for one another,’ the insider added.
Taylor is in the midst of her Eras Tour while Joe is in Hungary filming The Brutalist, according to Deadline.
The actor has been abroad working on the project ‘in recent weeks.’
Fans noticed that the British actor was not in attendance yet for any of Taylor’s shows for her Eras tour, which kicked off on March 17 in Arizona.
Taylor’s next show scheduled is on April 13, 14 and 15 in Tampa, Florida.
The biggest jump in streaming is for the tune Cornelia Street, off of her 2019 Lover album.
Cornelia Street is about a street in West Village in New York City where Taylor previously rented a place.
She rented the residence the same year she met Joe.
