Jason Derulo parties at Sydney’s hottest nightclub The Ivy ahead of his appearance on The Voice Australia

Jason Derulo was seen partying all night long at The Ivy in Sydney on Thursday.

The American singer, 33, is in the city to film The Voice Australia after he was announced earlier this month as a replacement judge for Keith Urban.

In between filming the talent show, he decided to loosen up at one of Sydney’s hottest nightclubs.

He was spotted drinking bottles of Don Julio 1942 tequila in the VIP booth next to the DJ with his entourage before leaving at about 2:30am.

The Wiggle hit-maker shocked party-goers when he arrived just after midnight with his entourage.

Thursday is considered one of the biggest nights for The Ivy with thousands of young professionals and university students pouring into the club every week.

The venue is a well-known hangout for visiting celebrities, including the likes of Kim Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, Russell Brand and Harry Connick Jr.

The Kid Laroi also made an appearance last year with an unscheduled performance.

Fans of The Voice Australia can expect fireworks from new coach Jason when the singing competition goes to air later this year.

Jason says he’s out to find the next global superstar, and has already sent a strong message to fellow coaches Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy.

‘I’m super, super duper competitive, almost unhealthily competitive,’ the cocky musician told The Sunday Telegraph.

The Savage Love star has come to the Channel Seven show as a replacement for Keith Urban, who left the franchise at the end of last season.

Born and raised in Florida, Jason shot to fame in 2009 with his first single Whatcha Say which was a No. 1 hit in the U.S. He has since sold more than 250 million singles worldwide.
