This trio, fronted by charismatic lead vocalist and guitarist Kyle Fisher and energized by the tireless rhythm section of Merrick Powell and Jonny Dolan, pays homage to the indie rock of the mid-2000s without merely imitating the sound of that era.

Their debut album, ‘All Our Friends’, flaunts their talents across 12 vigorous tracks that blend potent performances, intricate production, and sincere songwriting to create a record that’s both wildly energetic and delightfully fun.

The album is a crowd-pleaser that caters to both old-school indie purists and new listeners, and it begs to be blasted at full volume on a sweaty dance floor packed with gyrating bodies.

Lola Scott, another spectacular performer at the showcase, has rapidly established herself as an artist to look out for.

Having started her journey as a session musician, Lola has since made the leap into creating her own music.

Her indie-pop sound, laced with synth-heavy melodrama, is as multifaceted as it is interesting.

She describes her sound as ‘organised chaos disguised as alternative pop’.

Finally, the headliner, Sam McGovern.

Having either a guitar in hand or a surfboard under his arm from a young age, Sam translated his experiences from coastal travels into soulful songs.

He views songwriting as a way of expressing unspoken feelings, crafting heartfelt and honest lyrics that unravel deeper meanings.
