Tik Tok star Bobby Moudy – who found fame sharing family videos online – has died by suicide aged 46 after suffering financial struggles

A father-of-three who rose to prominence on video sharing platform Tik Tok has died by suicide aged 46, his family have confirmed.

James Robert Moudy – known affectionately as Bobby – passed away last week on April 28 according to the statement issued by his family.

The statement explained that the ‘loving father and husband’ was ‘weighed down by financial pressures’ in the lead up to his tragic passing.

The social media star has garnered 360,000 followers on Tik Tok and shared his last video just a day before his death.

‘But also weighed down by financial pressures. His wife, Jennifer and their three children are in an emotional and financial crisis as he was their rock.’

Alongside the announcement, Bobby’s eldest daughter Kaitlyn, wrote: ‘On April 28th my bestfriend was able to see our Heavenly Father. 

‘He was the most amazing dad, brother, uncle, and friend. He had such an impact on not only his family but those around him.

According to TMZ, Bobby died at his home in Mississippi but the circumstances surrounding his suicide are currently unknown. 

Friends of the Moudy family have established a GoFundMe to help the family through their loss and financial struggles in the wake of Bobby’s death.

Bobby leaves behind his wife Jennifer, and kids Kaytlin, Max and Charleigh.

He became popular on the app after sharing sweet videos of his day-to-day life with his family at their home in the U.S.

His last video was of Kaytlin, who featured heavily on his Tik Tok page over the years.

Underneath the post, Bobby’s wife Jenny asked their followers to ‘pray’ for the family in the wake of his sudden death.

Jenny, whose handle is Mommy Moudy, wrote: ‘Y’all please keep praying for us and @kaytlin moudy we will try to update y’all soon. He loved being goofy and making friends on this app. Pray for us.’
