He added, ‘So excited to reprise my character and see and work with old friends! I’ll keep you posted on any details. Jackson in Port Charles… who would have thought it? Let me, and ABC, know what you think about it!’

Willey portrayed Montgomery on All My Children from 1987 to the show’s end in 2011

This is not the first time Willey has portrayed the district attorney on a series outside of All My Children. In 1996 he played Jackson on seven episodes of The City.

He follows the lead of several other All My Children stars who have gone on to appear in General Hospital, including Finola Hughes, Robin Scorpio, Michael E. Knight, Cameron Mathison, Rebecca Budig, and James Patrick Stuart.

Plot details are still unknown, but it is believed his character, who is an attorney, will be giving well-needed legal advice to one of the characters in General Hospital.

During his General Hospital stint, Willey will be reunited with Hughes, whom he previously worked with from 2001 to 2003 on the series All My Children.

More recently, Willey portrayed the role of Gregory Ashford on the soap opera Tainted Dreams.

Initially released on YouTube and later on Prime Video, the series received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2014.

In 1990, Walt began performing as a stand-up comedian across the country, headlining at famous comedy clubs such as the Comedy Store in LA, Caroline’s in New York, and Zanies in Chicago.

He is still touring across the country, and he was inducted into the esteemed Friars Club in 2001 with the support of his friend and fellow comic, The View’s Joy Behar.
