Chelsea and Brighton have begun formal talks over Robert Sanchez, talkSPORT understands.
The 25-year-old has been in the shadows of the first team under Roberto De Zerbi, with the Italian preferring Jason Steele between the sticks.

Chelsea are interested in a move for the Spain international as competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
And Brighton, who recently added Dutch goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen to their ranks in a £17million move, are open to letting Sanchez leave.
However, it’s unclear at this stage if Chelsea are offering the Seagulls a loan or permanent deal.
Verbruggen has inherited the No.1 shirt from Sanchez, suggesting the latter could depart the Amex Stadium this summer.
Sanchez has been capped by Spain, but is part of the Brighton homegrown contingent, having been with the club since he was 15.
A move to Chelsea would see him link up with former Brighton goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts.
Roberts stayed put at Stamford Bridge, despite the departure of Graham Potter last season.

Chelsea are in the market for a goalkeeper following Edouard Mendy’s move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli last month.
Gabriel Slonina could also depart, with the highly-rated 19-year-old set to join Belgian side KAS Eupen on a season-long loan.
