Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho still seems to be a very popular figure in west London despite his spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Chelsea lost 4-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge yesterday, increasing the pressure on current boss Mauricio Pochettino.
And according to a report from the Daily Mail, there were supporters at the game saying they would take Jose Mourinho back and singing his name.
The Portuguese manager is currently available after being sacked by AS Roma.
In December, journalist Simon Phillips claimed that Mourinho would be keen on a return to Chelsea.
Could Jose Mourinho replace Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea?
When you look at Chelsea’s last two performances and where they currently are in the table, it does not seem that far-fetched.
At this rate, Pochettino could easily lose his job and there are not too many other options out there.

The above is not to say that Mourinho is the right man to succeed the Argentine and should come back for a third spell. But landing a top coach who is proven, especially in the middle of the season, is not a simple task.
As for the summer, if Pochettino lasts that long, Chelsea should have more options available to them. Still, given Mourinho’s connection to the club and stature in the game, you would still expect his name to be mentioned.
Pochettino’s fate has not been decided yet, though. If he can guide his side to the Carabao Cup at the end of the month, that could change a lot. However, that is obviously not an easy task, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side standing in the Argentine’s way.
They beat Chelsea 4-1 at Anfield in a game where the visitors were utterly outclassed by the home team, so we doubt Blues supporters are feeling that confident right now.
