Ben Chilwell and Malo Gusto both seem to be better going forwards than defensively, and making the most of this could be a wise idea at this stage.

This would need three players to play in the central defensive role, and could well see one player come in from the cold to feature.
Trevoh Chalobah was widely expected to be sold at either the beginning of this season or the January transfer window due to not really playing a part in the manager’s plans.
His injury record has also wrecked havoc, with him not featuring in any capacity since pre-season.
However, he does have an extraordinary spell playing in a back three at the club, particularly when Thomas Tuchel was in charge of the club.
His experience featuring alongside undroppable Thiago Silva could also be key for a side who are just desperate to find some stability at the back.
