This is the moment pro-Palestine protesters stormed a Tesco supermarket shouting ‘you have blood on your hands’ as they held banners calling for a ‘boycott’.

Social media footage shows a large group of people holding signs and Palestinian flags in the supermarket aisle while staff try to diffuse the situation.

One male protester wearing a black cap and Brooklyn jacket can be heard repeating ‘Tesco is supporting genocide’ before shouting ‘stop killing children’ and ‘enough is enough’.

He can then be heard shouting ‘Tesco has blood on their hands’ while surrounding protesters chant and hand out flyers to customers.

The protest, which appears to have happened in the fruit and vegetable section, saw demonstrators seemingly piling avocados into shopping baskets.

It comes after Pro-Palestine activists stuck spoof ‘apartheid’ pricing labels by pots of Israeli hummus in British supermarkets including Tesco in December, saying customers buying the dip are ‘supporting genocide’.

Images shared to social media showed Sabra hummus being sold with a fake label reading: ‘Apartheid Hummus. Buying this product helps support genocide. Since £19.48 Search BDS for more info.’

Reacting to the protests, one social media user wrote on X: ‘Boycott Israel protesters cause chaos in a supermarket in the UK ”Tesco is supporting genocide”.’

The protest is one of many to happen across the UK while Israel continues to attack Gaza following Hamas’s October 7 attacks on Israel.

MailOnline has contacted Tesco for comment.
