Eden Hazard has now had his say on which season during his spell at Chelsea he enjoyed the most.

He told the Evening Standard that his favourite campaign came during the era when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the club for the second time.

Hazard will easily go down as one of the greatest players in Chelsea’s history following his seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge.

His teammates from back in the day have not been shy to praise him for his abilities, with Antonio Rudiger recently claiming he was ‘unplayable’.

Given the fact that the Belgian was so impressive during his time in West London, there will likely be arguments amongst supporters about when exactly was his best times at the club.

Hazard names 2014/15 as his best season

Some will likely look at his final season under Maurizio Sarri, when he perfromed out of this world to help Chelsea win the Europa League in his final game here.

However, the great man would disagree with that, and instead believes the 2014-15 campaign was the best.

He said: “My best season was the second season with [Jose] Mourinho when we won the Premier League and League Cup.

“The manager was the Special One and it’s so hard to explain the feelings after games with the fans all happy.”

Hazard to appear at Soccer Aid

Since retiring earlier this season, Hazard has had plenty of time to feature in charity games and turn up at award ceremonies, and this will continue following the announcement that he will feature at Soccer Aid later this year.

The competition will be back at Stamford Bridge, and will see Mauricio Pochettino and Frank Lampard up against each other in the managerial dugouts.

He has also seemed to get enough viewings of the current Chelsea side, and has stated his admiration this season for Cole Palmer in particular after his deadline day move from Manchester City.
