A teenager has been granted bail, having spent the night in jail after he allegedly targeted two taxi drivers in western Sydney.
The 18-year-old man faced court today for two incidents last week that saw taxi drivers either allegedly injured or robbed.

A taxi was called to Churchill Street in South Granville on Thursday afternoon, where a man hopped in the car and allegedly used a knife to threaten the driver for money.

The next day, a taxi was called to Eve Street in Guildford.

A man got in the cab and, after an argument, allegedly pulled out a knife.

The 42-year-old male driver suffered cuts to his hands during an alleged struggle with the passenger, who got out and approached the driver’s side, then suddnely fled.

The driver was treated by paramedics before he was taken to hospital in stable condition. 

Police investigated both incidents and arrested the 18-year-old when he walked into Granville Police Station yesterday.

He was charged with aggravated robbery and inflict actual bodily harm, and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
