Ryan Gosling has brought back Carpool Karaoke, but not as fans may think, with the actor taking part in a hilarious sketch to promote his new film The Fall Fuy.

The actor jumps behind the wheel of a neon green car, tasked with picking up his fellow stuntmen and taking them to the set to film the action comedy.

However, despite warnings that Ryan shouldn’t be singing along, he can’t resist belting out the Journey hit Anyway You Want It, picking up a few other seasoned stuntmen along the way.

The sketch begins with director David Leitch telling Ryan that he needs to pick up the stuntman, but strictly tells him there will be ‘no music’.

Ryan asks: ‘Not even Journey,’ and David insists: ‘Not even journey.’

As he speeds off, Ryan stops to collect Logan Holladay, who is speeding through the neighbourhood on a motorbike.

Logan insists he’ll be driving, and they immediately begin to belt the 80s Journey classic together while the car speeds through the suburbs.

Their next pick-up comes in the form of Ben Jenkin, but Logan hilariously runs him over, leading to him clinging onto the car’s front before crashing onto the pavement.

Luckily, Ben bounces back and the car goes flying round a bend to collect Troy Brown, who leaps from the roof of a building into the inflatable below.

Troy confesses he’s too ‘claustrophobic’ to get into the car, before Ryan quips: ‘You seen good with heights!’

As they continue to sing along to the Journey track, they arrive at the set, but David complains they’ll have to re-film the scene, as they ‘don’t have the rights’ to the song.

Nonchalantly restarting the track, Ryan drives off with his fellow stuntmen, while director David moans he ‘told them not to sing.’

The sketch aptly references Ryan’s role as a stuntman in his new film The Fall Guy, where he stars opposite Emily Blunt.

It’s also a cheeky nod to James Corden’s iconic Carpool Karaoke segment, which became a global hit when it featured during his stint on The Late Late Show.

In the three-minute trailer for the film, released in November, Colt (Ryan) finds himself in quite the complicated situation while working with his director ex Jody (Emily) while also trying to solve a crime.

Nearly the entire clip focuses on whether or not Colt and Jody rekindle the flame and toward the end a moment is shown of the two finally sharing a kiss.

The trailer is set to the tune of Bon Jovi classic You Give Love A Bad Name which sets the fun tone for the action comedy film.

Colt and Jody reunite on set despite the director insisting she never wants to work with the star again.

However things get particularly interesting when the star of the film Tom Ryder, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, goes missing.

Jody asks Colt to find Tom which leads him to plenty of trouble but luckily he has his stunt training background to get him out of many physical situations.

The film also stars Hannah Waddingham and Winston Duke.

The Fall Guy will be released in UK cinemas on May 2, and will hit the US on May 3.
