A European club has just started talks about signing a Chelsea player on a permanent basis this summer.

While Blues supporters will be excited about potential incomings at Stamford Bridge, there’s several individuals linked with moves away from west London as well.

The Evening Standard previously claimed that Chelsea could sell players such as Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen or Armando Broja before the end of June to help meet the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Now, one of that quartet is attracting some significant interest.

Monaco step up interest in Chelsea player

First of all, BBC claimed that Chelsea’s Armando Broja is attracting interest from the likes of Monaco, AC Milan and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The report shared that the Blues value the young striker somewhere between £25m and £30m.

Also, the 22-year-old is available to buy this summer as he tries to reignite a career that is stuttering.

It’s now been claimed in overseas media that Monaco is in direct talks with Chelsea about Broja.

L’Equipe states that Monaco have advanced interest in Broja by starting negotiations with Chelsea.

Apparently, the French Ligue 1 club lead AC Milan in the race for the centre-forward’s signature.

Armando Broja needs permanent move

Broja is a Chelsea academy graduate that surely every fan wants to see become a successful No 9 at Stamford Bridge, but the harsh reality is that does seem too big a leap for him. If there’s question marks about Nicolas Jackson’s ability, Broja shouldn’t be in the conversation.

The Chelsea Chronicle believes that the Albania international needs a fresh start and a new home to kick on next season.

Mauricio Pochettino said Broja’s “potential is massive” back in January via The Guardian. However, the striker appears to be a long way off the level Chelsea needs.

His loan to Fulham in the second half of last season was a disaster, playing only eight games and failing to score.

A move to Monaco and a crack at Ligue 1 football could be a great answer for Broja.
