Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni walked over and guided a wayward President Biden after he strolled away from a photo opportunity at the G7 Thursday.
The president and other world leaders were gathered to view parachute jumpers who descended from the sky while displaying the flags of allied nations – in a show of unity and military prowess.
Some of the leaders were still clapping as one blue-clad parachutist unhooked some of his gear, when Biden started slowly walking away.
The president waived and gave a thumbs up to another military parachutist who was on the ground gathering his gear.

At that point Meloni jumped into action, walking over to the president to guide him back to the shot which would show all the leaders together.
Biden and the other leaders then rejoined for the photo with the parachutist.
Meloni has been taking her stage-managing role at the event in her home country seriously.
She also guided Biden, as well as other leaders, when she welcomed each of them individually to the luxurious site on the Apulian coast.
Meloni pointed them toward a ‘family photo’ location after a series of warm greetings.

The summit is featuring meetings about directing resources to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets, multilateral efforts on infrastructure, and a U.S. commitment to aide Ukrainian security for a decade.
The president and other leaders each arrived at the skydiving event in golf carts or classic Fiats.

Skydivers descended with the flags of different participating countries.
Biden was driven in a traditional cart with a Secret Service agent at the wheel.
Meloni arrived in a Fiat 500 while Canada’s Justin Trudeau arrived in a tiny Fiat Panda.
Biden wore aviator sunglasses and pointed at the spectacle, which came before a scheduled press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
