There’s been a suggestion in the media that Chelsea may be willing to offer their £29m player to Crystal Palace as part of the deal to sign Michael Olise.

Now that the summer transfer window is officially open, the speculation is beginning to ramp up on certain potential deals.

Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, 22, is one of the individuals strongly linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

The Evening Standard has claimed this week that Chelsea have started discussions with Premier League rivals Palace about signing Olise and paying a release clause that could rise to over £60m.

It’s now been claimed that the Blues may offer one of their players as a makeweight in the deal for French talent Olise.

Chelsea could offer up their £29 million player

The Guardian has claimed that Chelsea will not give up on signing Olise despite concerns about rival interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Manchester United.

It is understood that the Blues scouting department ‘love’ the 22-year-old attacker.

The report claims there’s been suggestions that Chelsea could offer Noni Madueke to Palace as part of the Olise deal.

Madueke, 22, is skillful right-winger who plays in the same position as Olise.

The £29m Chelsea star (Sky Sports) scored eight goals in 34 games last season all competitions. The Chelsea Chronicle believes that the Englishman is slowly improving and has got lots of potential, too.

Is there room for both Michael Olise and Noni Madueke?

It would be great if Chelsea squash any ideas of letting Madueke leave the club.

The Blues would be in a really healthy position next season if they’ve got Olise and Madueke competing against each other for a spot in the starting XI. In fairness, both attackers have the ability to play centrally if needed as well.

Mail Online has claimed that Chelsea could offer Palace either Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah in a swap deal for Olise. These types of deals would make far more sense when building the squad for next year.

Mauricio Pochettino described Madueke as “amazing” last season and we think letting him go would be a mistake.
