Sunrise star Monique Wright has been slammed over an embarrassing outfit fail.
The popular 49-year-old was mocked by the cast and crew of the hit breakfast show after she wore a snug-fitting black dress with puff-sleeves and a white collar.
Her colleagues teased the fan favourite on the show’s official Instagram, comparing Monique’s wardrobe choice to Wednesday Addams, from Netflix‘s hit series.

The story, which appeared on the show’s official social media on Thursday is captioned: ‘That time Mon looked like Wednesday and everyone told her so.’
Monique, who is currently filing in for regular host Natalie Barr, revealed in a new video that the Sunrise crew made fun of her when she arrived on set in the outfit.
She said in an Instagram post: ‘I was asked whether I had come in costume, whether I was Wednesday from The Addams Family.’
Monique said crew members had also compared her to a headmistress, a schoolgirl, and an undertaker.
The fan favourite did not hold back the sarcasm in the her video, messaging her Sunrise team that it was ‘so lovely to be working with a supportive crew’.

Monique took the slam in her stride, and included a tribute to the Wednesday character in her video.
Using the famous theme-tune as backing music, Monique can be seen clicking her fingers and posing as Wednesday in her share.
Meanwhile, Sunrise’ Mark Berretta joined the attack on Monique.

It comes Sunrise viewers have called for host Monique Wright to replace Natalie Barr after she has been filling in for the star over the festive period.
‘Just love this girl, wish Mon was the host everyday,’ penned one viewer.
