The new Chelsea manager has now officially signed in to get work underway ahead of next season at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca was the man deemed perfect to replace Mauricio Pochettino, with him now set for his first campaign as a Premier League manager.

All the talk has been about which players the club look to bring in to back the Italian in the best way possible.

It looks as if they are close to securing a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, arguably his best performing player at Leicester City last summer.

Many have been left wondering where the current squad sit in Maresca’s mind, and one player there are plenty of questions over at this stage are Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Ukrainian endured a rough European Championships this summer, with his country being dumped out in the group stages and him not playing the last game.

Chelsea think Mykhailo Mudryk can star under Enzo Maresca

Despite that and his tough start to life in West London, journalist Matt Law has stated on ‘London is Blue’ that the club have a feeling they will see the best out of him under the new manager.

He said: “There is a feeling in the club that Maresca’s style will suit him [Mudryk]. Maresca will be willing to use his strengths, what he’s good at. I do think he’s still a big part of Chelsea.”

It has been reported that the Blues are looking at signing a new winger, even after they missed out on the deal to sign Michael Olise.

Chelsea want to sell Raheem Sterling

This is likely meaning that it is getting towards last chance territory for the likes of Mudryk and Noni Madueke to really make their mark on the first team before potentially being replaced.

Another winger whose future does actually look bleak though is Raheem Sterling, with the club reportedly very keen to move him on.

However, he is reportedly settled at the club an looking forward to getting pre-season underway under the new manager.
