In an exciting development for fans of the X-Men, Sir Patrick Stewart is set to reprise his iconic role as Professor Charles Xavier in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film.

While this will be Stewart’s first time portraying Professor X in a Deadpool movie, it won’t be his first mutant multiverse cameo.

He briefly appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as part of the Illuminati, a group of superheroes from alternate realities.

Patrick Stewart first brought the character of Professor Charles Xavier to life in the 2000 film X-Men.

His portrayal of the wise and powerful leader of the X-Men, with his calm demeanour and profound insights, became a cornerstone of the franchise.

Deadline has now confirmed that the actor will be returning to play Professor X yet again, in the Deadpool threequel.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, Cassandra Nova is expected to be a major antagonist. She is a powerful and complex villain from the Marvel Comics, known as the evil twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier.

The film hints at a storyline where Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) encounter Cassandra in a post-apocalyptic setting, navigating the wreckage of the X-Men universe.

Xavier’s extensive knowledge of mutantkind and his powerful telepathic abilities make him uniquely positioned to confront Cassandra Nova.

His return could involve aiding Deadpool and Wolverine in understanding and ultimately combating her formidable powers.
