After England booked their place in the final of Euro 2024 in dramatic circumstances on Wednesday, a lot of thanks went to one Chelsea man.
Cole Palmer came off the bench yet again for his nation to have an impact, setting up the winning goal from Ollie Watkins against the Netherlands.
The assist saw him climb above the likes of Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden in this statistic despite playing far less minutes so far in the competition.

The method of victories has certainly been exciting for England fans this summer, especially in the knockout matches so far.
It seems even royalty have been delighted with what they have seen. King Charles III sent a message to the players to congratulate them for their achievements, and wish them luck for the final.
He also jokingly asked them to secure the victory before the final few minutes of the game then it would be appreciated, which was mentioned during Palmer’s time on Lion’s Den.
Palmer replies to King Charles III
The Chelsea man replied: “It is better in the last minute though, innit?”
It remains to be seen whether Palmer will get more of a chance to feature in the final, after continuing to make an impact in every game he has played so far.
Another Chelsea player who will be hoping to get an opportunity to feature for the Three Lions is Conor Gallagher, whose role definitely looks clear to see in the final few minutes of games.
Up against them will be Marc Cucurella, who has proven to be undroppable for Spain this summer.
It is guaranteed that at least one European champion will be returning to Stamford Bridge after the competition and the left-back could reportedly be looking very different if he is victorious, as he is considering dying his hair red to mark the occasion.
