England are now just one good result away from being crowned European champions.

Let’s just hope there’s no bad blood between them when they return to Stamford Bridge after the tournament final.
For Palmer, he’s had to show huge patience this summer. That’s because the talented attacker hasn’t started a single England game all tournament.
But it’s a credit to the 22-year-old star that he keeps making a positive impact from the bench, including assisting the Ollie Wilkins goal that won England their semi-final clash against the Netherlands.

Cole Palmer’s nickname
England defenders Kyle Walker and John Stones are two of these senior figures in the national squad. They’ve also played alongside Palmer before at Manchester City.
Apparently, the Chelsea and England youngster is hilariously nicknamed “the sloth” by them because of his lack of pace.
When discussing Palmer, Walker said via England’s YouTube channel: “Me and John [Stones] call him the sloth because he just moves so slow, but his body movement just takes you everywhere.”
Pace may be the only thing he lacks
While Palmer may not be blessed with lightning pace, he’s quicker than most when it comes to thinking and football intelligence.
The Chelsea playmaker really is the complete package and he’s unfortunate not to be starting in England games right now.
It’s a full credit to his character that he’s still able to make the most of every substitute appearance by showing his quality on the ball.
