Chelsea have already made a steady start to making plenty of profit on player sales as part of their summer transfer window.

While Enzo Maresca is going to be afforded a look at the majority of the squad during his pre-season campaign, there are no doubt some players who for a variety of reasons will be moved on.

This has already occurred in the cases of Omari Hutchinson and Ian Maatsen, who each left Stamford Bridge for significant profit.

There are still plenty of players that seem to be wanted to be moved on. Maresca was banished Kepa Arrizabalaga to train with the reserves as a result of their being no plans to integrate him into their plans going forwards.

Another player who has no future in West London is Malang Sarr, with them looking to move him on for the past few transfer windows now.

RC Lens want Chelsea’s Malang Sarr

It seems as if they may be a step closer to be able to do so. According to Foot Mercato, RC Lens are interested in a deal for the defender.

The centre-back didn’t feature at all last season, and this looked on the cards from the minute Mauricio Pochettino came in.

Pochettino didn’t know who Sarr was

He was asked early on in his reign about if there was any future for Sarr, however seemed as if he didn’t even know who he was asking about.

It was reported after the season had started that Pochettino had not even spoken to Sarr yet, and he was only spotted amongst the youth sides as a result.

The Blues are well equipped in the defensive positions going into next season, and have added to their ranks with the free signing of Tosin Adarabioyo.

Despite the lack of price tag, there is plenty of promise over what he can bring, and his new squad number suggests he will have a part to play instantly.
