While Chelsea have really struggled in the Premier League since his arrival, Enzo Fernandez still seems to be enjoying life in the division.
In his first season at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea finished in 12th place in the English top flight.
It is not impossible that they end this campaign in a similar position, with Mauricio Pochettino‘s men currently ninth in the table.
Whatever happens, it does not look like Enzo Fernandez will be leaving Chelsea any time soon.
The midfielder’s contract does not expire until 2031 and he is really happy playing in the Premier League. However, Fernandez has admitted that he has not been at his best.

Enzo Fernandez on the Premier League
Despite Chelsea’s struggles in the Premier League, Fernandez clearly has no regrets about joining the club.
“In my opinion the Premier League is the best league in the world,” the 23-year-old was quoted as saying by the Blues’ official website. “It is so dynamic with so many quality players.

“I think it’s the best. I always saw the Premier League on television. The intensity, the atmosphere, it was different. Now that I’m actually experiencing it, it’s incredible.”
Fernandez has made 38 appearances in total for Chelsea this season, scoring seven goals.
Could Enzo Fernandez leave Chelsea this summer?
Considering the above, it seems very unlikely.
Fernandez is on a super long contract and is enjoying English football.
However, it was claimed last month that Chelsea have offered the Argentine and Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world. In the near future, a move to the Santiago Bernabeu may appeal to Fernandez.
For now, though, it is hard to imagine the Argentina international and World Cup winner going anywhere, even with Chelsea being a mid-table team at present.
