Wild moment kayaker launches foul-mouthed rant at fishermen after they ‘hook’ his boat and force him to capsize in the middle of Sydney Harbour

A pair of fisherman copped a shocking foul-mouthed rant when one of their lines got caught around a kayak in Sydney Harbour and caused it to capsize.
Adam Bailey, 30, and a friend were standing on the edge of the harbour with their fishing lines cast out into the water below.
One of the fishing lines got caught around the back of a man’s kayak, causing it to capsize.

Mr Bailey, who works on a fishing charter, said similar incidents happen ‘pretty regularly’ in the harbour because of kayakers coming too close to where people are fishing (Mr Bailey’s fishing companion pictured)
As the kayaker was reeled towards to water’s edge by the fishing line, he yelled obscenities at the anglers as they looked on, occasionally letting out bursts of laughter.
‘I told you I was coming into range,’ the kayaker yelled. ‘I can’t get [the line] off. You’ll have to f**king cut it off!’
The friend cut the line loose to free the kayak and the paddler was able to get away.
Mr Bailey, who works on a fishing charter, told Daily Mail Australia the kayaker was was the third to cross the pair’s lines on that day.
‘We have our lines pretty close to us with a float in the water. These kayakers come very close to us. We don’t intentionally do it,’ he said.
Mr Bailey said similar incidents occur ‘pretty regularly’ in the harbour because of kayakers came too close to areas where people fish, and urged them to be more careful as anglers ‘cannot move out of the way for them’.
‘They’ve got a lot more space to avoid our lines,’ he said.

A license is not required to paddle a kayak in NSW but a government website warns Sydney Harbour ‘is an extremely busy waterway’
NSW Maritime advises kayakers to ‘use [their] eyes and ears to keep a good lookout,’ when paddling in Sydney’s popular waterways.
Commercial fishing in the harbour was banned in 2006 due to elevated levels of toxins in fish and crustaceans but recreational fishing remains legal.
