Rebecca Gibney has taken to social media to share photos of her amazing weight loss transformation.

The 58-year-old Packed to the Rafters star says she has shed a 7kgs in just 28 days after adopting a programme from Melbourne nutritionist Donna Aston.

Re-assuring her followers that her gushing post was not a paid ‘plug’, Rebecca said that the health regime helped her to trim an impressive 9cms from her waistline – and urged fans to try it.

The Gold Logie winner added ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics to her Instagram to illustrate her weight loss.

Baring her mid-drift in black active wear in both pictures, Rebecca’s physique looks dramatically thinner in the more recent photo.

Flaunting her trim abdomen in the latest picture, Rebecca, in black-rimmed glasses can be seen smiling proudly as she shows off her new, slimmer figure.

‘I am really excited about the journey I’ve been on the last four weeks,’ Rebecca said in her post.

She said that Aston’s programme helped her to change her whole approach to food and gut health.

Wanting to shed the extra weight because of an upcoming acting role, Rebecca turned to the new programme.

‘I’m sleeping like a baby,’ she said of the results.

‘I have amazing energy and my gut health is so much better which is the whole point of the programme.’

Rebecca added that weight loss is a by-product of the programme that focuses on gut-health, including the digestive system. 

‘I’m not spruiking a magic pill,’ she said, ‘there isn’t one.

Admitting that the first week of the regime can be ‘challenging’ she urged followers to ‘forget’ pills, diets and injections’, because, ‘they don’t work’.
