‘Best day of my life!’ Big Brother’s Glyn Wise expresses his delight as he shares clip after meeting King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort at his church – where is training as a priest
Big Brother star Glyn Wise was ecstatic on Friday after meeting King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort at his church in Wales.
The reality star, 34, who announced he was training to become a priest earlier this year, was delighted to have met the royals during their visit to Wrexham, with Glyn sharing a clip of the moment on his social media pages.
Glyn – who rose to fame on the seventh series of Big Brother, on which he finished runner-up, in 2006 – wrote with his video: ‘Best day of my life! Got to speak to the King at Church today!’

Delighted: Glyn – who rose to fame on the seventh series of Big Brother, on which he finished runner-up, in 2006 – shared a video online and wrote: ‘Best day of my life!’
Referring to the clip, he continued: ‘This is him on the way out! Loved every second of it! #Wrexham King Charles III. Queen Camilla was just as friendly with a really nice smile.’
In the video, King Charles was seen waving to the congregation as he made his way out of the church.
Glyn could be seen smiling as he stood nearby while wearing his long white vestment.

He was gaining experience as a Pastoral Assistant at a church in Camden Town, and is completing his training in Wales.
The former TV personality gushed about his new job in the caption, writing: ‘I’ve done it! I’ve been accepted to train for Ordained ministry with the @churchinwales. I’d like to thank the @thechurchofengland for all it’s support at Camden – St Michaels!’

Glyn revealed that the training will take two years and wrote in Welsh that he would be starting in September, after jesting that he’d be like something out of sitcom Father Ted.
He continued: ‘I’ve really enjoyed giving sermons & bringing the good word to people. In 2 years time I’ll be Father Glyn – my life will be like a sketch show out of #vicorofdibley & #fatherted but I’m looking forward to it! So happy!’
It’s been over 15 years since he entered the Big Brother House as a fresh-faced lifeguard.
He previously made headlines as he dipped into politics after his Big Brother days, standing with Welsh party Plaid Cymru – before his recent career switch up.
