Mason Mount is finally a Manchester United player after weeks of negotiations, and he could make his debut very soon.

The Red Devils will pay a guaranteed £55million to Chelsea, plus a further £5m in performance-related add-ons.

The 24-year-old was Erik ten Hag’s top target, and United have managed to get him in time to take part in the club’s hectic pre-season schedule.

This means we could see him make his non-competitive debut for the Red Devils imminently.

When will Mason Mount make his Man United debut?

Mount missed the end of the 2022/23 campaign due to a pelvic injury.

His last match for Chelsea came in April, but he has had the summer to recover and heal.

Mount is now training with his new teammates and could make his debut in United’s first pre-season match.

Ten Hag’s men face Leeds on Wednesday, July 12, in Oslo at the Ullevaal Stadion.

The game will kick-off at 4pm UK time.
