Jude Bellingham’s preparations to make his first appearance for Real Madrid are well and truly underway.

The 20-year-old signed for the La Liga giants from Borussia Dortmund last month in a deal that could rise to £115million.

Bellingham has already enjoyed a wealth of success on the pitch despite being in the early stages of his career.

He has made 166 competitive appearances for Birmingham and Borussia Dortmund thus far, scoring 28 goals from midfield.

A move to Madrid has now offered him the chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in world football.

With trophies a highly achievable prospect, it comes as no surprise that Bellingham is working hard in training ahead of his debut.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, he uploaded images of himself at Madrid’s training base for the first time.

Bellingham has already got the practice in on the pitch and has been posted in the gym on a training bike.

He was also pictured with boss Carlo Ancelotti, who will leave the club at the end of next season to become the new Brazil manager.

Looking visibly delighted, the young talent captioned his post with: “The wait is over. Vamos [Come on]!!!”

Having already made 24 senior appearances for England, there is little doubt that the future is bright for Bellingham.

He has even taken the no.5 at Madrid, the shirt that was worn by the legendary Zinedine Zidane.

With the new campaign just around the corner, pre-season fixtures will give fans the chance to see him in action for the first time, although he’s on the way back from a knee injury that kept him out at the end of last season.

Madrid will face AC Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus in the coming weeks as Bellingham embarks on his new chapter.
