Actor Tochukwu, who escaped the boat disaster that claimed Junior Pope’s life, describes how film director Adanma Luke attempted to have him imprisoned in the moments following his narrow escape.
Recall that Junior Pope, a well-known actor, and a few other crew members perished in a recent boat accident in Anambra when they were returning from a filming location.
The incident’s survivor, actor Tochukwu, stated that by hanging onto a rope, he was kept out of the water and therefore saved his life.
He then disclosed in a video that the film producer had attempted to have him arrested shortly after he had escaped death.
He stated that the boatman told Adanma Luke that he was the one who caused the accident by standing and blocking his view.
He insisted that the actor Junior Pope, whose body was still missing, had not yet been located when Adanma was demanding his arrest.
