Despite the alarming situation, Danielle noted a reluctance among many individuals to speak out. She lamented living in fear for simply reporting the truth.

Danielle Kaminsky Sues Department of Education
Danielle Kaminsky has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Education, alleging severe antisemitic harassment and retaliation at Origins High School.
Kaminsky reported facing harassment, including swastikas, death threats, Nazi salutes, and pro-Hitler comments, especially after the Hamas massacre on October 7th. One email she received even called for the extermination of all Jews.
The lawsuit alleges that from October to March, students engaged in aggressive antisemitic behavior, such as chanting hateful slogans, drawing swastikas, and glorifying Hitler while waving Palestinian flags.
Despite Danielle speaking out, the school reportedly retaliated against her. Michael Beaudry, a campus manager who supported Kaminsky and sought intervention, also faced repercussions for his advocacy.

She started working at Origins in 2017 after teaching for four years in Long Island. She said she faced antisemitism only at this school.
Even though she supported Israel, Danielle tried to stay neutral when teaching and organizing events. She wanted students to think critically and consider different viewpoints.
Although Kaminsky didn’t talk about being Jewish, most students knew. Sadly, some students drew swastikas on their work and desks, which broke her heart.
A former student, who was not Jewish, said Danielle cared about her students and tried her best in a system that didn’t support her enough.
