Police are investigating whether a drive-by shooting and a car fire in western Sydney overnight are connected.
At about 10pm, police were called to Myall St, Merrylands, after shots were fired into a home.
On arrival, police found that several shots had been fired from a light-coloured car at the time of the incident.
No injuries were reported.
A short time later, police were called to Bennett Street, Bass Hill, after reports of a car fire.
They found a white Hyundai hatchback well alight.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, and police say it’s believed nobody was in the car at the time of the fire.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
