Police allegedly found methylamphetamines in the cabin of the truck that lost control in Sydney’s south-west yesterday, hitting multiple cars before ploughing through a church carpark and into a primary school classroom.

The 21-year-old allegedly behind the wheel has been issued a court attendance notice for possession of those drugs, while detectives continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

The Moorebank school will open tomorrow with an alternative classroom for the year 2 students who had theirs destroyed.

CCTV footage captured the moment several people standing outside a church were narrowly missed by the out-of-control truck and trailer.

The driver was pinned inside the cab but was not badly hurt.

Three people were taken to hospital for minor injuries, with several more treated by paramedics at the scene.
