You may not know this, but since first dipping our toe into the world of podcasts, the Daily Mail have quietly become one of the most successful publishers in the world, winning awards, dropping charts and bringing incredible stories to millions of people.
It began back in July 2023, when our brilliant Mail+ team came up with the brainwave of covering the Trial of Lucy Letby as a podcast, teaming up with broadcaster Caroline Cheetham and our very own Liz Hull.
The Trial of Lucy Letby series became a national phenomenon, rewriting the rule-book as to what makes a True Crime podcast. That is now in its 4th season, with our coverage of the trial of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon becoming the latest must-listen.
Capitalising on this success, our podcast team, helmed by award-winning producer and broadcaster Jamie East have created an audio network spanning genres such as showbiz, history, family, royalty, sport and crime, mostly coming from our state-of-the-art studio in Central London.
