Two people have been charged over the attempted murder and serious assault of a man at a property north of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to the property in Mclean Road at Mount Mee at about 8.30pm on Wednesday after reports of an assault.

They found a 23-year-old Eagle Farm man with critical head injuries who had allegedly been partially buried alive.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

A crime scene was declared at the home and investigations began.

Today, a 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were charged with attempted murder, common assault, deprivation of liberty, grievous bodily harm and other offences.

Both were due to appear at court yesterday and will front court again today.
