Police were informed a knife-wielding man had allegedly entered a number of businesses along Zeally Bay Road and Fischer Street in Torquay about 10.45am today.
One victim was allegedly approached and stabbed by the man on Zeally Bay Road.
He received a minor injury and was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
The offender then entered a pharmacy on Gilbert Street where he allegedly assaulted two customers.
CCTV obtained by 9News shows the man wearing a puffer jacket allegedly lunge towards several customers including a man holding a young child. 
One witness told 9News the pharmacy was busy at the time of the alleged attack. 
“He said ‘I’m coming back to get you all’,” she said.
“So we shut the doors as quick as we could and someone said he was on the outside trying to get back in.
“There were a lot of the people inside the pharmacy at the time and everyone was shocked.”
No customers or staff were injured.
The man, aged in his 50s, ran from the scene and was arrested a short time later at a home in Torquay.
He has been taken to hospital for assessment.
Investigations are ongoing.
