Three men have been caught on camera breaking into a tobacconist and stealing an ATM machine on New South Wales‘ Mid Coast.

The trio allegedly forced their way into the business at the suburb of Tea Gardens on Saturday night.

CCTV footage exclusively obtained by 9News showed them smashing open the front door before hurling a drinks fridge out of their way.

They were then seen trying to pull an ATM machine with Ford Ranger, which sent the machine flying across the store.

The men allegedly worked to haul the machine onto the car before they fled the scene.

The men remain on the run as anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In an unrelated incident, another ATM was stolen from a tobacconist in Upper Coomera in Queensland in the early hours of Saturday.

The alleged thieves chained the machine to a white utility, which has since been found.
