The charges come after police launched an investigation into reports of multiple cases of alleged domestic violence last November.

The 28-year-old senior constable was issued with a court attendance notice yesterday.

He was initially charged with accessing or modifying restricted data on a computer.

Then, following more investigations, he was arrested at Narellan Police Station today and charged with 11 additional charges.

They are: five counts of common assault DV; three counts of stalking or intimidating intend fear physical harm DV; two counts of using a carriage service to menace or harass or offend; and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm DV.

The 28-year-old was granted “strict conditional bail” to appear in Picton Local Court on May 16.

He is also due to front Liverpool Local Court on June 12 in relation to the restricted data charges.

NSW Police has suspended the senior constable with pay.
