Bajrektarevic fired off a slew of threatening and racist text messages to an unnamed recipient, according to the criminal complaint.

‘Stop talking to white peoples’ he wrote in one text, which was quickly followed up with the shooting threat. ‘When I shoot up the school, know who’s to blame.’

‘The city will go to war you dumb N****r Monkeys,’ he wrote.

‘Your brains will be left on the f****** pavement,’ he added, before repeating the monkey slur.

City College released a statement to the school community saying it  ‘acted on the threat with the NYPD and the FBI, and the student was promptly identified and arrested.’

‘All CCNY Public Safety Officers have been informed that Mr. Bajrektarevic has been suspended and barred from campus, and they are fully prepared to enforce the bar should he attempt to enter the City College campus,’ the school said in its email, according to the New York Post.

The school also released a photo of Bajrektarevic, and implored the community to be on the lookout for him.

‘Remain alert, and should you encounter Mr. Bajrektarevic on the City College campus, please immediately notify CCNY Public Safety,’ the school said.

The school said it did not believe Bajrektarevic had any intention of violating the order to remain away from the campus, and also said he was not believed to possess a firearm.

‘We have no reason to believe at this time that Mr. Bajrektarevic intends to violate the directive and attempt to enter the City College campus. Nor do we have any indication that Mr. Bajrektarevic is in possession of any firearm or any other deadly weapon.’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday at a press conference in August

The arrest and release come months after Mayor Eric Adams revealed that just ten individual criminals made up for 500 of the arrests in the city over the last two years, with at least six of them still walking the streets.

Adams made the announcement in August and asked judges and the legislature to do away with bail reforms that are putting more violent criminals back on the street.

Adams was joined at a press conference by NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell and frustrated NYPD chiefs.

He told of how the 2020 reforms, ushered in under Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio, now made it impossible for criminals to be jailed.
