  • The new Channel 4 programme called Sky Copper starts tomorrow

This is the moment police break down a ‘drug dealer’s’ door while their drone captures him throwing wads of cash in the neighbour’s garden.

A new Channel 4 programme called Sky Coppers, which starts tomorrow, follows the West Midlands Police’s drone unit.

The show sees the unit track criminals from the air, finding suspected wrongdoers trying to hide up trees, discard drugs in bins and run away from the scene of a crime.

Channel 4 say the programme will be a fascinating and revealing look into modern policing with many funny moments.

Examples include suspects fleeing across rooftops – sometimes in only their underwear.

The programme is a fascinating and revealing look into modern policing and includes many funny moments

The opening episode sees a sting op at the house of a suspected drug dealer. In the episode a man is seen attempting to throw several wads of cash from an upstairs window – unware that he is being watched by a drone.

The episode also sees the police unit use their high-tech kit to search for a wanted man, who was last seen climbing over the fence in a garden.

Elsewhere, the team uncover a giant cannabis farm and are attacked by a smoke bomb fired from a stolen car.
