There are grave concerns for Luke Davies, 29, and his 26-year-old partner and former Ten presenter Jesse Baird, after possessions of theirs were found in a skip bin at Cronulla earlier this week.
Police confirmed a 29-year-old man presented himself to Bondi Police Station at about 10.30am today.
The man will be taken to Waverley Police Station, police said.
It’s understood that man is serving Constable Beau Lamarre, who police wished to speak to as part of the investigation.
No charges have been laid.
Police said earlier that both Baird and Davies were last seen on Monday, however, one was active on social media on Tuesday night.
Baird’s and Davies’ possessions were found with blood on them at about 11am on Wednesday in a skip bin outside Club Cronulla on Wilbar Avenue.
Investigators then attended a home at Brown Street in Paddington, where officers “immediately” established a crime scene after finding a large amount of blood.
Police went to Davies’ home in Waterloo, but he has not been located.
The bank accounts of both men have not been used since their disappearance.
About 11.30pm yesterday, officers investigating the disappearance carried out a search warrant on a home in Waite Avenue, Balmain.
“Officers seized a number of items,” police said, in a statement issued early this morning.
“No further information regarding items taken from the property is available at this time.”
